Striving for hospitality

We truly believe fishermen are essential to the Norwegian way of life and deserve the very best. Their work is at the heart of coastal communities, and the quality of Norwegian seafood begins with the dedication and skill of the people who harvest it.

With this in mind, we continuously invest in making life a little easier and more comfortable for the fishermen who deliver to us. As part of this effort, we installed a new 80-meter floating dock in Bergsfjord last year, providing a safe and convenient place to moor.
We would also like to thank the Sámi Parliament for their contribution to this endeavor.

Fishermen delivering their catch to us can tie up at the dock, connect to electricity, and take the opportunity to come ashore and join us for dinner. All of these facilities are, of course, completely free of charge. It is our small way of showing appreciation for the hard work that keeps the Norwegian fishing tradition alive.

The same amenities are also available at our locations in Lofoten, where we strive to provide the same welcoming and practical facilities for fishermen visiting us there.
